#2 Deus Ex: Mankind Dividedĭeus Ex: Mankind Divided is the hotly anticipated follow-up to Human Revolution due out in Spring of 2016. I look forward to creating my own quests and storylines when this game releases on September 8. Dungeons and Dragons games in the past have contented themselves with party-based multiplayer at best, but Sword Coast Legends could finally be the title that makes running the game and controlling the bad guys as fun as it actually is on the tabletop. This is another one I tried out at E3, and seeing the gameplay and Dungeon Master quest and campaign creation options in action made me a believer. What I saw and heard has kept my excitement for the title going even as more AAA games fill out the release calendar.ĭoes the idea of a intricately tactical football game appeal to you? Or how about a turn-based clash of fantasy races, each with their own special strengths, weaknesses, and abilities? Well Blood Bowl II is all that and more, so I invite you to join me about the hype train. I put this game on my most anticipated list three months ago, and I was fortunate enough to check out a half-hour demo of the title and speak to the developers at E3 2015. Blood Bowl II looks to combine both those things into a beautifully brutal package when it releases this September. If there are two things I enjoy, they are turn-based strategy games and the Mutant League series of sports games. If the developers take the time to add enough depth and replay value to make it more than an amusing diversion, this could be a sleeper hit and a title that drives virtual reality sales in much the way Wii Sports helped make the Wii a success. I can’t wait to see what the full version of VR Sports Challenge has to offer when the Oculus launches next year. It offered a sports experience that felt wonderfully natural but that just couldn’t exist outside of virtual reality. Sure it was simplistic and shallow, but it was so much fun. I tried out the hockey portion of VR Sports Challenge at E3 this year for about 15 minutes, and it’s been the game I’ve thought about the most in the following weeks. Nick’s Most Anticipated Games #5 VR Sports Challenge Here are the games we are currently anticipating the most, as of Summer 2015. Since our last installment of this feature we’ve experienced an E3 for the ages, and with it a deluge of new titles, both big and small, to look forward to both in the near and far future. It has been three months since the last time we here at sat down and listed out the games we personally are looking forward to the most, when we take off our critical hats and just allow ourselves to become excited about games again.
